Try not to drool over burger photos from new, oddly-named restaurant Thurber Mingus

Thurber Mingus doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. The new restaurant got its name when its owners combined the names of two West Texas towns, Thurber and Mingus.

The rough-and-tumble name is a symbol of the restaurant itself, which serves "refined rustic border cuisine," according to its website, on White Settlement Road in Fort Worth. Menu items include pork shoulder "border tacos," chicken empanadas, chili and queso.

Some of the burgers take a decidedly southwestern flair, such as the green-chile-white-cheddar-pimiento burger or the one with poblano, queso oaxaca, green onions and cilantro mayo.
