Lakewood Brewing Co.'s Fourth Anniversary Get Down

Lakewood Brewing Co. will host its Fourth Anniversary Get Down, an epic party at the brewery that'll have "vintage favorites, rarities and experimental one-offs that have never seen the light of day." Live music, food trucks, a photo booth, games and more will round out the action. General admission tickets will have staggered entry times and come with a souvenir glass and tasting cards good for six 5-ounce pours. The brewery suggests trying to get an early entry time to have a better chance of trying the more limited releases. At 6 p.m., doors will open to the public and beers can be purchased by the glass.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey: 'Circus Extreme'

In its Circus Xtreme show, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey promises an exhilarating "extreme adventure," even without the circus's famed elephant act, which was retired this year. Many performers come from circus families and have been performing all their lives, such as Toba (with "exotic big cats") and Mighty Ibarra (and the wheel of steel). There's plenty more to see, including figure skaters, a human cannonball, powerful strongmen, BMX trick riders, trampoline daredevils, the World Famous Ringling Bros. Clown Alley, a bungee aerial sky-diving display, contortionists and more.

There will also be an exhibit hall with recent games and hardware, a tabletop gaming area and plenty of entertainment. Attendees will also have the chance to try out some of Bethesda's anticipated titles.
