XTO Parade of Lights / Sundance Square Tree Lighting Celebration

Fort Worth's 33rd annual illuminated holiday procession is made up of 100 professionally designed and produced floats that each feature more than 12,000 lights, as well as equestrian units, antique cars, marching bands, horse-drawn carriages and strolling carolers. Santa and Mrs. Claus will wave to fans from the grand-finale float. Warm-up acts such as the Wheelie-ing Elvi start making their way around the route Nov. 22 at 4:30 p.m., and the parade starts at 6 at Belknap and Throckmorton streets. After the parade, head to Sundance Square for the lighting of its  59-foot-tall tree at 7:30. Check out strolling street performers and holiday characters, and find photo ops with Santa and other holiday faves. BrainDead Festicle

The first BrainDead Beer Festicle at BrainDead Brewing will feature the release of bottles of the brewery's first barrel-aged offerings Red Wine Barrel Wiere Gardes (Biere de Garde) and Bourbon Barrel Hammer of the Gods (Imperial Wheat Porter) in 750 mL bottles, and maybe, just maybe a couple of larger format. The Nov. 21 Festicle begins for VIPs at 1 p.m.; 2 p.m. for general admission. Expect delicious brews from all of BrainDead favorites, as well as Chef David catering out of his new smoker toy, Jolly. Downtown Wanderland

This new series of events, which runs through Dec. 20, will have you wandering Downtown Dallas for holiday shopping pop-ups, music and mores. Scheduled events include live music from Spinster Records at Pegasus Plaza on Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Santa photos at Pegasus Plaza on Nov. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. and reindeer at Main Street Garden on Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. Free. downtowndallas.com.

'Frozen' Festival

Olaf and Elsa from Frozen will be on hand for this event, which also features a tree lighting with Santa and Cedar Hill Mayor Rob Franke, stilt walkers, music by Rockestra, a toy drive and more. Light the Night

Watters Creek will get much more sparkly on Nov. 21, when Santa will light a 30-foot-tall tree that's part of a 145,000-light display that includes 20 other trees, not to mention Santa's sleigh with reindeer. A fireworks display will follow the 6:15 p.m. tree lighting. Other attractions include performers from the Allen Civic Ballet, children's crafts, carriage rides, hot cocoa and caroling.
