EDM festival Lights All Night will be celebrating the ball drop in Dallas this winter to the tune of DJs Kaskade, Hardwell, and at least 20 other acts, according to an announcement Tuesday.
The the event, which since 2010 has brought some of the most prestigious names in electronic music to town, announced Porter Robinson, Flosstradamus, Baauer (of "Harlem Shake" fame), Big Gigantic and Datsik will join the rave, set to ring the ring in the New Year. See the full lineup below.
Lights All Night returns to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center December 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016. Though it began as a New Year's Eve celebration, the festival has not taken place during that time period in several years. Co-founder Scott Osburn said in June the move back to NYE was driven by demand.
Last year, Osburn and his partner Hank Keller, who together founded production company Highland Concerts, spent $2.5 million on stage production -- think lasers, intricate stage designs, sound, smoke and confetti cannons, etc. -- and more than 40,000 ravers dressed in costume show up to enjoy the spectacle. We thought it was one of the best parties of the year.
Fest alumni include Deadmau5, Skrillex, Armin Van Buuren and Icona Pop. Tuesday's press release promises more performers will be added in the coming weeks.
Tickets are currently on pre-sale and cost $129.99-$349.99 for two days for general admission and VIP.
