Fort Worth's third annual Untapped Festival took over Panther Island Pavilion May 9, bringing beer, music and thirsty residents along with it.
Considering the potential for severe weather, Untapped went smoothly providing short lines and great vibes to the tune of electro-pop band Big Data, prog-rockers The Sword, indie singer Ariel Pink and a handful of local bands. But before headlining act De La Soul could perform, festival attendees were told to take shelter in their cars. The low-hanging clouds were streaked with lightning causing Untapped to end sooner than expected. (Not before resident beer drinker Tiney Ricciardi could pick out a few good summer brews, though.)
The last minute cancellation by no stretch ruined the experience. Check out some of the sights and scenes below.
