HOTEL PACKAGES
If you like to dine and wine and do everything else in between, check
out the New Year's Eve packages offered by several area hotels. Some
packages include drinks, dinner and dancing, live entertainment, party
favors and a midnight champagne toast and balloon drop, and a few throw
in deluxe overnight accommodations. Call for details. Remember, most
places sell out pretty quickly. Act now to enjoy later. All events
listed below are for Dec. 31, unless otherwise noted.
Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott Couples-only celebration runs
from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. (hotel check-in is Dec. 31 from 3 to 7:30 p.m.;
check out by 1 p.m. Jan. 1) and includes an open bar from 8:15 p.m. to 1
a.m. and dinner and dancing at about 8:30 p.m. Attire is semiformal

The Westin City Center, Dallas
Celebration runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. and includes a murder mystery
show along with a three-course seated dinner at 8 p.m. Guest
registration for those not staying overnight is Dec. 31 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Hotel check-in is Dec. 31 from 3 to 7 p.m.; check out by noon Jan. 1.

Grand Hyatt DFW Celebration for couples ages 21 and older runs
from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and includes overnight accommodations (check-in
is Dec. 31 at 3 p.m.; check out by noon Jan. 1), a jazz band and a

Celebration for ages 21 and older (valid ID required for admission) runs
from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and includes a dinner buffet, late-night
appetizers and an overnight stay. The hotel is across from Terminal C

Fairmont Hotel Dallas Celebrate with a four-course dinner (seatings from 6 to 10 p.m.) accompanied by live piano music at the hotel's Pyramid Grill restaurant and then stay

Celebration called NYE Dallas Live includes DJs, dancers, live bands,

The Richardson Hotel Celebration called "Ring In '06 at Boots &
