Photos: Chefs and foodies feast at first Klyde Warren Park fundraiser

Upon its completion in 2012, Klyde Warren Park became a signature space among downtown Dallas' arts district. But, a beautiful park -- replete with year-round free programming -- requires careful upkeep. Its first fundraiser, Park and Palate, sought to fund the city's green gem while also offering a dynamic evening of high-end enjoyment with local emphasis.

The two-day event created a "weekend of total indulgence" with demonstrations by local and celebrity chefs, live music and -- of course -- tastings. Saturday's "Texas-sized showcase" featured 30 chefs and 30 wineries and all proceeds benefited Klyde Warren Park.
