Expect new dog-friendly photo opps around Dallas, beginning Saturday

The bureau plans to unveil other puppy-poised signage around Dallas in the coming weeks. The new B&Gs will be fire hydrant or tennis ball themed.

The "Big Things Happen Here" campaign launched in 2012 and has included human-sized letters placed in iconic locations in Dallas. Residents and visitors were encouraged to stand in the middle as the I in "BIG," and those photos shared on social media helped the bureau promote Dallas.

Now, it's Fido's turn. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get your pooch to sit still -- and smile even -- for the perfect Facebook photo.
