The two female jaguar cubs, named Luna and Estrella, weighed less than 2 pounds each when they were born in May. They stayed with mom Xochi for nearly two months, nursing and developing skills, and are now part of the Brush Country exhibit in Texas Wild! at the zoo.

Their eye color, now blue, will transition to green. Eventually they will be about 6 feet long, not including their tail.

Luna and Estrella will live at the Fort Worth Zoo for 12 to 18 months and then move to another zoo, according to a statement.
