A flight of beer at the new bar On Tap in Arlington,

It's a good time to be a craft beer fan in D-FW, friends. The area is growing in number of breweries, craft-focused bars, and growler shops. Recently, Fort Worth got its own Lone Star Taps and Caps growler shop, and Arlington's newest growler station and bar is officially open. Enter: On Tap.

On Tap is two miles from the Globe Life Park and about a mile from the AT&T Stadium, so it's ripe to handle all your sports-related booze needs, as well as normal drinkin'. The bar has 50 taps for craft beers, cider, mead, root beer and coffee. Whether you're a craft connoisseur or are new to the scene, On Tap has a brew for you.

Check out the deets below.

What: On Tap, Arlington's new growler shop and bar

8 hidden gems in Arlington (because there's more here than the Dallas Cowboys)

Why: If you’re an Arlington-local in search of great beer and atmosphere, this bar is for you. Also, being so close to both stadiums, all of your tailgate needs are taken care of.

How much: On Tap is a pay-by-the-pour bar and growler shop. You can also purchase 32- and 64- ounce growlers, tulip glasses and tasting glasses, and other merch. Pints range $4-$5, while growler fills are about $15.

What else: This location is prime. You can grab beer on your way to a game or watching party, or have a few pours inside the large seating area. It's BYO-Food, and there's plenty of space for larger groups. There are two TVs and tons of parking. It is not currently dog-friendly (a patio is in the works, though). Kiddos are welcome, and there are some non-alcoholic options available for them.
