THE PITCH: This tasty, hop-forward beer is a cross between an American pale ale and an IPA. Right up front, there's a big wave of bitter citrus hops flavor that IPA fans will welcome, backed by tropical fruit notes. It's followed by a moderately malty backbone that relieves the bitterness and moves into a clean, dry finish. The alcohol content of 6.5% is high for an American pale ale, but it's not out of line for an IPA.
