2 North Texas brews make list of 'America's best craft beers'

Time Out magazine is in love with Fort Worth. Or at least it was when it was drunk.

The culture and travel pub recently released a list of America's best craft beers and two North Texas brews made the cut: Snowmaggedon by Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. and River House Saison from Martin House Brewing Co. Both breweries reside in Fort Worth.

Time Out listed 20 beers, and our homegrown ales came in at No. 7 and No. 13 on the list, respectively.

Footnotes: Snowmaggedon is a seasonal release, meaning you won't be able to find 'round these parts until February. The beer also won a gold medal at the 2014 World Beer Championships.

Other beers on Time Out's list include Ballast Point Habanero Sculpin, Ommegang Hennepin Farmhouse Saison and Alaskan White. It's important to remember that every drinker's palate is different, and many of the "best brews" in America may not appeal to you, but rest assured they are worth a try.
