When Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra were married in India over the weekend, the event included hundreds of guests and a four-day ceremony.

Chopra called it "a religious mash-up" in People: "We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It's been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way."
The photos of the celebrity couple — of Jonas, the actor and singer who grew up in a suburb of Dallas, and of Chopra, the actor and pageant queen born in India — are stunning and colorful.
The four-day event took place in India and included Christian and Hindu ceremonies. Here's a look at the happy couple on Nov. 27, a few days before festivities began, in Mumbai.

The event looks like fun, doesn't it? Chopra wrote on Instagram, "once again, we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed."
Chopra and Jonas' wedding reportedly had 225 people in attendance, including Jonas' boy-band brothers. People reports that "on Dec. 1, the day after Chopra and Jonas had a Mehendi ceremony, where they were both adorned with henna tattoos, and a Sangeet that night in which both families performed elaborate musical numbers with choreography and costumes, the bride and groom were married in a Western ceremony on the palace's lawn."
Photographers report that fireworks lit up the sky when Jonas and Chopra exchanged vows.
Chopra wore a Ralph Lauren dress and a 75-foot-long veil on Dec. 1 during the Christian ceremony.
The couple had a Hindu wedding on Dec. 2 and then a bridal ritual called a Bidaai, People says.
