The celebrity couple attended a service at Hillsong Church in Beverly Hills together before having a romantic dinner at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel, says TMZ. According to them, E!, Hollywood Life and other celebrity news sources, the pair was very lovey dovey throughout the night.
While Wednesday church services aren't uncommon in Christian denominations, this year Valentine's Day also happened to fall on Ash Wednesday, or the first day of Lent. Gomez was raised on Catholic traditions, though in recent interviews she has said she believes less in "religion" than she does in God. Hillsong is a Pentecostal church.
