Beyonce introduces twins Rumi™ and Sir Carter™ to Instagram

Beyonce and celebrities like her have are using Instagram as a way to share pertinent information with their fans. In July 2016, she put up a short video dedicated to the men who died during the Dallas shooting.

Update July 14 at 10:13 a.m.: Bey and Jay have been keeping quiet since the birth of their new twins, even if the paparazzi (and Beyonce's dad) haven't. But today, the queen broke the silence.

Beyonce posted a picture of her holding the two 1-month-old babies, Sir Carter and Rumi, in front of a floral arrangement that looks strikingly similar to the one she used for her pregnancy announcement. (Admittedly, it looks less like a JCPenney backdrop this time.)

According to Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, one is a boy and one is a girl. Still, some internet users were comically confused by the names. The media picked up wind of the twins' names after Jay-Z and Beyonce filed for trademarks of them. Seriously.

Some say an Instagram post around Christmastime, showing Beyonce holding up two fingers, was a sneak peek at her baby-on-board news.

Some web users were quick to point out that Beyonce's maternity photo looks like it was taken at a JCPenney. It sounds like a diss -- and it probably is -- but the smart social folks at Plano-based JCPenney used it to their advantage. Some funny tweets:
