Dallas rapper Post Malone, now on an international tour with Justin Bieber, is finally getting some of the big recognition he deserves. But he was most recently thrust into the spotlight for, uh, "appearing to grab Justin Bieber by the throat," the Daily Mail reports, during an appearance at a club in Houston. The Internet had a lot to say about it.
TMZ's original story was even more dramatic: "Justin Bieber uses Post Malone ... AS AN ASHTRAY."

After the story became a trending topic on Twitter, Justin Bieber Tweeted a goofy photo choking Post Malone back. Because they're bros, y'know? (Post posted the same photo to his Instagram, too.)

Anyway, forget all that nonsense and get to know Post Malone, the North Texas rapper who Dallas Morning News music critic Hunter Hauk says is spitting "one of the most addictive, hypnotic songs of the past year, 'White Iverson.'"
Post is getting nods from big names such as 50 Cent and Jay Z. And you can hear him on Kanye's new album Life of Pablo, on the track "Fade."
