Flight etiquette expert from Plano takes on Russell Crowe's hoverboard rant on Twitter

Heather Poole, a Plano native, blogger and best-selling author on the world of flight attendants, took on actor Russell Crowe on Twitter for his rant against Virgin Australia for not allowing him to check in hoverboards.

On Tuesday, Crowe launched into Virgin Airlines for not allowing him to bring his children's new hoverboards aboard a plane in Sydney, Australia. Hoverboards have been banned on some airlines because they've been determined to be a safety risk.

Crowe sent out angry tweets to his 1.85 million followers, then left the airport without checking in, tweeting that he was done with Virgin Airlines.  Virgin Australia responded with an explanation that, hey, the hoverboards contain batteries that are known to explode.
