Report: Mark Salling, former 'Glee' star from Lake Highlands, arrested on child porn charges

Actor Mark Salling, who grew up in Lake Highlands and went on to star in Glee, has been arrested for possession of child pornography, according to People.

Salling, 33, was arrested Tuesday after police searched his home and reportedly found hundreds of images on his computer, TMZ is reporting. The news was first broken by Crime Watch Daily.

According to Newsweek, Salling's arrest followed investigations by the Los Angeles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a regional arm of the national ICAC task force. The LA task force received the case a few weeks ago, the Newsweek report says.

In January 2013, Salling was sued by his ex-girlfriend for sexual battery.  That case was reportedly settled earlier this year.
