On Twitter, he announced that he has signed to RCA Records, home to artists such as Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, Pitbull and many, many other recognizable names.

After being in One Direction for almost five years, this is his chance to go solo. Now Magazine reports that he plans on taking his music in a different direction - more R'n'B and more sexual. Since his departure from One Direction, he has released two songs onto a private SoundCloud account , a cover of Rae Sremmurd's "No Type" and a song titled "I Wouldn't Mind."
