For the first time in history, Tigres and Monterrey will play the Liga MX championship in the Apertura MX 2017 opening tournament starting Thursday, Dec. 7.
It's the epic final Regia -- a showdown between the two rivalry Monterrey teams -- that's sure to make for an exciting championship for the Liga MX.
The first game of the tournament will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Universitario de los Tigres stadium in San Nicolás, and the second game will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the BBVA de los Rayados stadium in Monterrey. Keep your eye on star players Rayados forward Rogelio Funes Mori and Tigres forward André-Pierre Christian Gignac.
