The well-known mobile app's rankings were compiled using a combination of users' account likes, saves, tips, and more, according to Tech Insider. The app's users tend to be under 40, college-educated and male.
Texas boasts two of the top 10 ranked bars, with Houston's Anvil Bar & Refuge - Texas' first self-identified craft-cocktail bar when it opened in 2009 - at No. 7, and Black Swan Saloon, Gabe Sanchez's speakeasy-style bar in Deep Ellum, at No. 10.
Austin's Peche, another Texas stalwart, rounded out the list at No. 25.
Naturally, the New York area, epicenter of the craft-cocktail renaissance, had the greatest number of bars on the list. That included the acclaimed, early-20th-century-style Dead Rabbit, as well as St. Mazie, Dear Irving, Clover Club, Apotheke, Hotel Delmano and Dutch Kills.
The top-ranked bar of all? Miami's Broken Shaker.
Tulsa's Hodge's Bend came in at No. 23.
